The RAM-GDS-DOCKT-AP27U is an interchangeable top cup that converts your existing GDS® vehicle dock to hold the Apple iPad mini 5 wrapped in IntelliSkin®. It lets you move your dock to a new device for the cost of a cup rather than a complete new vehicle dock.

Apple iPad mini 5 in the matching IntelliSkin® sleeve (RAM-GDS-SKIN-AP27). Fits GDS® vehicle docks with interchangeable top cups; it is the top section of the RAM-GDS-DOCKL-V2-AP27U. The modularity of RAM® Tab-Tite™, Tab-Lock™ and GDS® docks means a tablet upgrade only costs you a cup, not a complete new mount.

Do I need anything else to mount my iPad mini?

This is a conversion part, not a complete dock. You need an existing GDS® vehicle dock and the IntelliSkin® case for the iPad mini 5. Starting from scratch? Look at the complete RAM-GDS-DOCKL-V2-AP27U dock instead.
