The RAM-HOL-TAB8U is RAM® Mounts' spring-loaded Tab-Tite™ cradle for 10" tablets in a case, sized around the Apple iPad Pro 9.7 (1st Gen) with a case. It grips the tablet top and bottom with quick-release end cups and bolts onto any RAM® component with the standard AMPS hole pattern, so you can build it into a car, truck, boat, aircraft or desk mount. This listing is the cradle on its own, ready to pair with the RAM® ball base and arm of your choice.

Works With

The cradle bolts to any RAM® base, arm or plate that uses the universal AMPS hole pattern, and the back plate accepts both B-size (1") and C-size (1.5") round ball bases. Fit is determined by the tablet's measured size, not the brand, so check your device against the cradle dimensions below.

FAQs

Does this come with a mount or base? No. The RAM-HOL-TAB8U is the cradle only. To complete a mount you add a RAM® ball base (B or C size) and a double socket arm. If you'd rather buy it ready to go, see our TAB8 cradle with a C-series or B-series ball base built in.

Will my tablet fit? If your tablet (in its case) sits within the height, width and depth ranges above, it will fit. The cradle is sized around the iPad Pro 9.7 with a case.

Can I reuse it when I upgrade my tablet? Often, yes. The end cups are interchangeable, so a new pair of cups can re-fit the same back plate to a different device.
