The RAM-235U is a double U-bolt base with a 1.5" C size ball, fitted with two stainless steel U-bolts for mounting to rails or handlebars 25.4mm to 31.75mm (1"-1.25") in diameter.

FAQs

Why can't I tighten the nuts by hand? That's expected — the nylon lock ring inside each nut resists vibration, so a wrench is needed to drive the nut past the lock ring.
