Will this fit a phone like the iPhone 11 as well as a tablet? No, this holder won't keep a phone secure. The ball is modular though, so you can swap between a phone cradle (RAM-HOL-UN78BU or RAM-HOL-UN10BU) and this tablet cradle on the same arm.
