The RAM-101-B-MAG88U is a complete heavy-duty magnetic mount that clamps a device holder to any ferrous metal surface without drilling. It pairs an 88mm RAM® Tough-Mag™ base with a short C-size double socket arm and a 2.5" round ball base, giving you adjustment at both ends and a strong hold on steel.

What's the difference between this and the RAM-101-MAG88U? This is the short-arm version; the RAM-101-MAG88U uses a medium arm for more reach and height.

Will it hold on aluminium or stainless? No — magnets only grip ferrous metals (steel and iron). Non-magnetic aluminium and most stainless won't hold.
