The RAM-B-189-TAB12-ALA1-KRU is a complete RAM® dual suction mount for 8" tablets and the Apple iPad mini in a light-duty case, popular as an aviation EFB (electronic flight bag) setup. Its twin Twist-Lock suction cups give an extra-strong hold on flat glass, and the retention-knob arm lets you re-aim the tablet without it dropping. Built around the spring-loaded RAM® Tab-Tite™ cradle.

Dual suction base: two 83.8mm (3.3") Twist-Lock cups for an extra-strong hold on smooth, non-porous surfaces such as glass.
Retention-knob arm: the double socket arm carries an extension knob, so you can adjust the mount with the tablet in place and not over-loosen it.
Spring-loaded Tab-Tite cradle: sized for the iPad mini series and 8" tablets, with interchangeable end cups.
Infinite adjustment: B-size 1" ball at each end of the arm for near-infinite viewing angles.

Works With
Sized for the iPad mini 1-4 in a light-duty case (not LifeProof) and most 8" tablets that fit the cradle dimensions below. The dual base needs a flat, smooth, non-porous surface such as glass.

FAQs
Does it fit an iPad mini in a case? Yes, the iPad mini 1-4 in a light-duty case. It is not suitable for LifeProof cases.
What does the retention knob do? It lets you loosen and re-aim the arm with the tablet still mounted, and stops the knob backing all the way off.
