RAM-GDS-CHARGE-V19U is a GDS® modular hardwire charger that takes 10-32V DC from a vehicle's electrical system and delivers a regulated 14V DC at up to 3.5A through a 5.5mm barrel plug, ready for any RAM® or GDS® DC powered dock that calls for a 14V input.

Works With

Any RAM® or GDS® dock that specifies a 14V DC input on a 5.5mm barrel. Check what your dock actually asks for before ordering, because output voltage is not interchangeable across this range; a 14V dock will not run correctly from a 12V charger. Can I use a 12V charger on a 14V dock? No. Match the output voltage your dock specifies. The compatibility guide above sets out the whole range side by side.

Will it charge a tablet directly? No. It outputs 14V on a barrel plug for a powered dock, not USB. If your device charges over USB, you want one of the USB-C or USB-A chargers instead.
