RAM-B-202U-22 RAM® Square Ball Base with 38 x 38mm 4-Hole Pattern (B Size)

The RAM-B-202U-22 is a B-size square drill-down base: a flat 51mm (2") square plate fitted with a 1" rubber ball and a four-hole 38 x 38mm (1.5" x 1.5") mounting pattern. It bolts to a flat surface and gives you a B-size ball to build a mount from, connecting to any B-size RAM double socket arm.

Works With

Any B-size (1") RAM® double socket arm, and any surface where you can drill or tap the four-hole 38 x 38mm square pattern. Pair it with a B-size arm and a cradle to build a complete mount. If your device cradle uses the standard 30 x 38mm AMPS pattern rather than this square 38 x 38mm one, use the round RAM-B-202U or diamond RAM-B-238U instead.

FAQs

Is this a VESA base?
No. The four holes sit on a 38 x 38mm (1.5" x 1.5") square pattern, not a 75mm or 100mm VESA pattern. It is a compact square utility base, not a screen-mounting plate. For a B-size VESA option you would step up to a C-size mount.

What screws does it take?
The four holes suit common #8, #10, M4 and M5 screws. If you are pairing it with a RAM® holder, the holder usually comes with the hardware.

Can I use it with a C or D arm?
No. The 1" ball is B size and only fits a B-size double socket arm. Match the ball size to your arm.
