The RAM-B-101-237U bolts down to a flat surface via a 63mm (2.5") AMPS round base, then a medium double socket arm carries a 1/4"-20 male threaded stud for any camera or camcorder with a standard tripod thread. It's a permanent, stable and secure base for cameras that need to stay put.
