The RAM-B-189-AP14-ALA1-KRU mounts a caseless Apple iPad mini, mini 2 or mini 3 with a dual RAM® Twist-Lock™ suction cup base and extended retention knob arm — built for extra hold in higher-vibration environments such as aircraft.

Works With

The dual suction cup base gives a stronger hold than a single cup — best mounted to glass or a non-porous plastic surface. The retention knob arm lets you dial in the perfect viewing angle without the connection working loose over time. The cradle is form-fit to a caseless iPad mini 1-3, so a case or sleeve will not fit.

Care & Warranty

• Smooth, non-porous surfaces only — anything rough or textured lets air past the seal and the cups will not hold.
• Clean the surface thoroughly before you apply the cups.
• If the aircraft or vehicle is left sitting in extreme heat or cold, release the cups and stow the mount rather than leaving it loaded.
• RAM® classes suction cups as a general wear item, so the cups are excluded from warranty cover. The base, arm and cradle hardware are covered as normal.

FAQs

Why choose this over the single suction cup version (RAM-B-166-AP14U)? The dual suction base and retention knob give a stronger, more vibration-resistant hold — better suited to aircraft and other high-vibration mounting.

Will it fit my iPad mini in a case? No. The EZ-Roll'r cradle is form-fit to a caseless iPad mini 1-3. For a cased small tablet, the Tab-Tite RAM-B-189-TAB-SMU is the better choice.

Are the suction cups covered by the warranty? No. RAM® treat suction cups as a general wear item, so they sit outside the lifetime warranty. The rest of the mount hardware is covered as normal.
