The RAM-B-149Z-GA1U mounts the Garmin GPS 12, 12CX, 12XL, 12MAP and 38 to a handlebar using a zinc-coated U-bolt base, a diamond AMPS adapter and a double socket arm. The U-bolt hardware fits bars 12.7mm to 31.8mm (0.5" to 1.25") in diameter, and a composite rail adapter narrows the fit down to 12.7mm (0.5") minimum.
