RAM-GDS-CAB-CLAMP3U – RAM® GDS® USB Cable Joint Splint

The RAM-GDS-CAB-CLAMP3U is a plastic cable joint splint that stops USB cable connections coming apart in high-vibration environments. It secures any USB Type-A join, or USB Type-C connectors with rugged aluminium housings, using zip ties around the connection.

Key Features

• Secures any USB Type-A connection, or USB Type-C with rugged aluminium housing
• Four small zip ties lock the connection against vibration and unplugging
• Two long zip ties mount the clamp to the back of a GDS® Dock™ or a RAM® Tele-Pole™
• Long ties fit rails up to 38mm (1.5") in diameter; foam pad included

Works With

USB Type-A cable joins and rugged aluminium-housed USB Type-C joins, in vehicles, machinery and other high-vibration installations. Mounts to GDS® Docks™, RAM® Tele-Poles™ or rails up to 38mm (1.5") diameter.

FAQs

Will this fit slim USB-C connectors?

It is designed for USB Type-A joins and USB Type-C connectors with rugged aluminium housings; slim consumer USB-C plugs may not fill the clamp properly.
