The RAM-HOL-UN12WB-V7M-1 is a waterproof, universal Qi wireless charging cradle that pairs spring-loaded RAM® X-Grip® arms with 15W charging, supplied as a complete motorcycle kit with a B size diamond ball base and a hardwire charger. Built to keep almost any smartphone powered and accessible in rugged, open-cockpit environments.

FAQs

Will it fit newer iPhones (12 and up, including iPhone 17)?

No. This cradle suits iPhones up to the iPhone 11. It is not recommended for the iPhone 12, 13 and 14, which favour Apple's MagSafe over the Qi standard (MagSafe charges roughly 33–45% faster; RAM® wireless products deliver the WPC Qi BPP/EPP standard up to 15W). For newer devices, use the RAM-HOL-PD7B-W2MU instead.

Can I leave a phone charging on it for long periods?

There's no built-in trickle charger, but the in-line on/off switch lets you cut charging when the phone is docked but you don't want it charging.

Anything to watch for on a motorcycle?

Apply silicone grease to the USB Type-A male and female connectors on open-cockpit applications to prevent corrosion; failure to do so voids the warranty. High-engine vibration may also affect iPhone cameras.
