The RAM-101-SU consists of a double socket arm with Pin-Lock™ security nut and key knob and two 2.5" diameter round bases that contain the universal AMPS hole pattern. The mount is designed with a 1.5" diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm; this allowing for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles.
The hole pattern found on the round base plates will connect to many RAM cradles, including all iPad cradles. The included RAM’s patented design dampens shock and vibration, helping to extend the life of your device.
The arm is a STANDARD LENGTH double socket arm with mixed combination Pin-Lock™ security nut and key knob. RAM® Pin-Lock™ security solutions are designed to withstand the harshest environments where RAM® Mounts are commonly used. With an emphasis on aesthetics and function, RAM® security nuts/knobs are low profile and only add a small amount of additional bulk to your system when compared to the standard knob included. At a fraction of the cost of currently available keyed locking knobs, the additional peace of mind and tamper resistance comes at a very affordable price.
A single spring inside the arm opens the end sockets allowing you to pivot the ball and socket connection. This socket technology provides for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles.
