Can I use this for wireless charging? Yes — the centre cavity fits a genuine Apple MagSafe puck (sold separately), turning the holder into a wireless charger.

Should I use the tether? RAM recommends fitting the included device tether if you're using this holder in a vehicle with an open cockpit, such as a motorcycle or off-road vehicle.
