RAP-224-1U RAM® Twist-Lock™ Suction Cup Base (No Ball)

The RAP-224-1U is an 83.82mm (3.3") Twist-Lock™ suction cup base with a diamond connection pattern, giving an extra-strong hold on glass and other smooth, non-porous surfaces.

• Diamond end has two holes spaced 48.6mm centre to centre, matching the universal AMPS hole pattern
• Compatible with RAM-B-238U or RAM-238U diamond plates, or mates directly to the back of RAM composite cradles

Works With

This base does not include a RAM 1" rubber ball or screws — it's designed to mate directly to the back of a RAM cradle. If you need a B Size ball base for a connecting arm, that's RAP-B-238U, or get both together in RAP-B-224-1U.

What surfaces is this suction cup compatible with? Suction cups create a vacuum, so they need an extremely smooth surface — any texture lets air in and weakens the grip. They work best against windows and highly polished metal surfaces.
