RAM-189B-PIV1U RAM® Dual Articulating Suction Cup Base

The RAM-189B-PIV1U is a RAM® Twist-Lock™ dual suction cup base with each cup articulating independently, built to seal on curved windscreens and other curved, smooth, non-porous surfaces where a rigid dual base can't. It has a 2-hole AMPS pattern for direct connection to a RAM® B or C series diamond base.

What connects to this base? Any RAM® B or C series diamond base with a matching 2-hole AMPS pattern — most commonly the RAM-B-238U or RAM-238U.

Why an articulating base instead of a fixed dual suction base? Each cup pivots independently, so this base can sit flat against curved glass or bodywork where a rigid dual base wouldn't seal. For flat surfaces only, the RAM-B-189BU fixed base is a cheaper option.
