RAM-B-189B-PIV1U RAM® Dual Articulating Suction Cup Base with 1" Ball

The RAM-B-189B-PIV1U is a RAM® Twist-Lock™ dual suction cup base with each cup articulating independently, built to seal on curved windscreens and other curved, smooth, non-porous surfaces where a rigid dual base can't. It includes a diamond ball base with a B-size 1" ball, ready to connect to any B-size RAM® double socket arm.

Works With

Suits curved or flat vehicle windscreens and other smooth, non-porous surfaces. If your mounting surface is flat or only gently curved, the RAM-B-189BU fixed dual suction base is a lower-cost alternative.

Care & Warranty

• Smooth, non-porous surfaces only — anything rough or textured lets air past the seal and the cups will not hold.
• Clean the surface thoroughly before you apply the cups.
• If the vehicle is left sitting in extreme heat or cold, release the cups and stow the base rather than leaving it loaded.
• RAM® classes suction cups as a general wear item, so the cups are excluded from warranty cover. The base and ball hardware are covered as normal.

FAQs

Why an articulating base instead of a fixed dual suction base? Each cup pivots independently, so this base can sit flat against curved glass or bodywork where a rigid dual base wouldn't seal. For flat or gently curved surfaces, the RAM-B-189BU fixed base is a cheaper option.

What does it connect to? The integrated diamond ball base has a B-size 1" ball, compatible with any B-size RAM® double socket arm and cradle/holder combination.

Are the suction cups covered by the warranty? No. RAM® treat suction cups as a general wear item, so they sit outside the lifetime warranty. The base and ball hardware are covered as normal.
