The RAM-B-189B-202U is a twin-cup RAM® Twist-Lock™ suction base with a B Size 1" ball, giving you an extra-strong, no-drill hold on smooth, non-porous surfaces. It's a popular, rock-solid base for aviation EFB mounts and any setup that needs more grip than a single cup.

Works With

This is a base only, add a RAM B-size double socket arm and the cradle for your device. The ball plate is fixed, so both cups sit in the same plane and seat best on flat or gently curved glass. For a strongly curved windscreen or helicopter canopy, consider the articulating RAM-B-189B-PIV1U base instead.

Care & Warranty

• Smooth, non-porous surfaces only; anything rough or textured lets air past the seal and the cups will not hold.
• Clean the surface thoroughly before you apply the cups.
• If the vehicle is left sitting in extreme heat or cold, release the cups and stow the base rather than leaving it loaded.
• RAM® classes suction cups as a general wear item, so the cups are excluded from warranty cover. The base and ball hardware are covered as normal.

FAQs

What's the difference between this and the RAM-B-189BU?

Same twin-cup base. This one has a B size 1" ball built in and is ready for a double socket arm; the RAM-B-189BU has an AMPS plate instead, so you choose and fit your own round ball base.

Will it hold on a curved windscreen?

The ball plate is fixed, so both cups sit in the same plane, best on flat or gently curved glass. For a strongly curved windscreen, the RAM-B-189B-PIV1U articulating base is the better choice.

Are the suction cups covered by the warranty?

No. RAM® treat suction cups as a general wear item, so they sit outside the lifetime warranty. The base and ball hardware are covered as normal.
