The RAM-B-189B-201-ALA1-KRU pairs a dual 84mm (3.3") Twist-Lock™ suction cup base with a B size double socket arm fitted with a retention knob, making an ideal window mount for tablets in aircraft and helicopters; twice as secure as a single-cup base, with easy one-knob adjustment.

Care & Warranty

• Smooth, non-porous surfaces only; anything rough or textured lets air past the seal and the cups will not hold.
• Clean the surface thoroughly before you apply the cups.
• If the aircraft or vehicle is left sitting in extreme heat or cold, release the cups and stow the mount rather than leaving it loaded.
• RAM® classes suction cups as a general wear item, so the cups are excluded from warranty cover. The base and arm hardware are covered as normal.

FAQs

Will it hold on a curved windscreen?

Suction cups grip best on flat or gently curved glass and non-porous plastic. For a strongly curved surface, look at the RAM-B-189B-PIV1U articulating version, which lets each cup angle independently.

What does the retention knob do?

The extended knob makes the arm easier to loosen and re-tighten in a confined cockpit, and its design stops you backing the knob off far enough to lose the clamp on the balls.

Are the suction cups covered by the warranty?

No. RAM® treat suction cups as a general wear item, so they sit outside the lifetime warranty. The base and arm hardware are covered as normal.
