Works With

This is a base only — it needs a C-size RAM® double socket arm and a device holder to complete a mount. For the strongest hold, fit the suction cup to glass or another smooth, non-porous surface rather than anything textured.

What surfaces is this suction cup compatible with? Suction cups work by creating a vacuum, so they need an extremely smooth surface. Any texture lets air in and loosens the grip — windows and highly polished metal work best.

Can the suction cups pivot like the RAM-B-189B-PIV1U? No — only select dual suction cup mounts have the independent pivoting connection for surfaces that aren't fully level.
