The RAP-B-166-202U pairs an 83.8mm (3.3") Twist-Lock™ suction cup base with a medium double socket arm and a 63mm round AMPS base, built entirely from high-strength composite for a lightweight, no-drill mount.

Care & Warranty

• Smooth, non-porous surfaces only — anything rough or textured lets air past the seal and the cup will not hold.
• Clean the surface thoroughly before you apply the cup.
• If the vehicle is left sitting in extreme heat or cold, release the cup and stow it rather than leaving it loaded.
• RAM® classes suction cups as a general wear item, so the cup is excluded from warranty cover. The base, arm and plate hardware are covered as normal.

FAQs

How does the composite version compare to the aluminium one?
The RAP-B-166-202U uses a composite arm and round plate in place of the aluminium parts on the RAM-B-166-202U. It's noticeably lighter and better suited to marine and salt-air use, while the aluminium version is the tougher choice for heavy vibration or knocks.

Is the suction cup covered by the warranty?
No. RAM® treat suction cups as a general wear item, so the cup sits outside the lifetime warranty. The rest of the mount hardware is covered as normal.

What surfaces will the cup stick to?
Glass and smooth, non-porous surfaces. Textured dashboards will not hold — fit a RAM® adhesive disk to the dash first and stick the cup to that.

How fast does it ship?
