RAM-B-166-A-202U – RAM® Twist-Lock™ Suction Cup Mount with Round Base (Short Arm)

The RAM-B-166-A-202U pairs a RAM® Twist-Lock™ suction cup base with a short double socket arm and a 63.5mm round base, giving you an AMPS-pattern plate ready for most RAM cradles. The base grips glass and smooth, non-porous surfaces (including RAM adhesive disks), making it a tidy windscreen or dashboard mount for cars, trucks, and boats.

Care & Warranty

• Smooth, non-porous surfaces only; anything rough or textured lets air past the seal and the cup will not hold.
• Clean the surface thoroughly before you apply the cup.
• If the vehicle is left sitting in extreme heat or cold, release the cup and stow it rather than leaving it loaded.
• RAM® classes suction cups as a general wear item, so the cup is excluded from warranty cover. The base, arm and plate hardware are covered as normal.

FAQs

Is the suction cup covered by the warranty?
No. RAM® treat suction cups as a general wear item, so the cup sits outside the lifetime warranty. The rest of the mount hardware is covered as normal.

What surfaces will the cup stick to?
Glass and smooth, non-porous surfaces. Textured dashboards will not hold; fit a RAM® adhesive disk to the dash first and stick the cup to that.

How fast does it ship?
If this item shows as being in stock then it will usually ship from our Auckland warehouse in 1 business day. If it says to enquire then please get in touch as we may be able to get this back in for you.
