The RAM-VB-196-1 is a heavy-duty, no-drill mounting base that secures to your vehicle's existing passenger-side seat rail bolts — no drilling required. This reverse-configuration base is built for right-hand-drive vehicles and provides the foundation for RAM's laptop, tablet, and device mounting systems, including the Tough-Tray™ and Seat-Mate™ ranges.

Is this the right-hand-drive version? Yes — RAM-VB-196-1 is the reverse-configuration base for right-hand-drive vehicles. For left-hand-drive vehicles, use the standard RAM-VB-196 instead.

Does this include a laptop tray? No — this is the vehicle base only. Add a RAM Tough-Tray™ (e.g. RAM-234-3) or another compatible RAM device holder to complete your mount.
