RAM-HOL-UN9U – RAM® X-Grip® Universal Cradle for 9"-11" Tablets

The RAM-HOL-UN9U is a RAM® X-Grip® universal tablet cradle that uses a spring-loaded four-arm design with rubber caps to grip tablets between 158.75mm and 205.7mm wide, with or without a case or sleeve. It ships without a ball base, so it needs to be paired with a separate ball base, such as the RAM-B-202U, to mount to an arm.

Mounting Base

The RAM-HOL-UN9U does not come with a ball base attached. It has a (3) 4-hole AMPS pattern (1.181" x 1.496") with 75 x 75mm VESA compatibility on the rear, so you'll need a separate ball base to mount it to an arm. Compatible bases: RAM-B-202U (B size), RAM-202U (C size), or RAM-D-254U (D size) — choose based on the arm you're pairing it with.

The iPad Pro 11's actual footprint (9.74" x 7.02" x 0.23") falls within this cradle's width and thickness range. For any universal holder, it's the overall length x width x depth that determines fit — not the marketing screen size. Factor in your case dimensions if your tablet is in one.

Q: Will this holder still work if the side supports don't fit my tablet?
A: In most cases, yes. The side supports are optional and mainly recommended for extra security in high-vibration environments, or to support the bottom of the tablet in portrait orientation.
