The RAP-401-9-BC-UN8U is a complete bedside or wheelchair tablet mount pairing the RAM® X-Grip® universal cradle for 7-8" tablets with a large Tough-Claw™ clamp base, a 9" (228mm) extension pipe, and a swivelling double socket arm. The Tough-Claw™ clamps tool-free to bed rails, chair frames, and bars, and the pipe and arm position the tablet for comfortable viewing; swing it away when it's not in use.

FAQs
Is this a complete mount? Yes. The large Tough-Claw base, 9" pipe, socket arms and X-Grip tablet cradle are all included — the only thing you add is the tablet.
Will the Tough-Claw fit my bed rail or wheelchair frame? The large Tough-Claw clamps tool-free to round, square and odd-shaped tube from 25mm to 56mm outer diameter, and to flat surfaces up to 56mm thick. Most hospital bed rails and wheelchair frames sit inside that range — measure yours before ordering.
Will my tablet fit with a case on? Measure the width of your tablet with the case, sleeve or skin fitted. The cradle opens from 63.5mm to 146mm wide and takes devices up to 22.2mm thick.
Is the tether included? Yes. It's worth fitting if the chair sees outdoor or rough-ground use.
Can it be swung out of the way? Yes. The swivelling double socket arm and the pipe let you push the tablet aside for transfers, meals or sleeping, then bring it back to the same position without re-setting anything.
How much weight will it hold? The mount is rated to 900g (2 lb), which covers any 7-8" tablet in a case.
