RAM-B-407-UN8BU – RAM® X-Grip® 7-8" Tablet Mount with Tough-Wedge™ Base (Alloy)
The RAM-B-407-UN8BU mounts most 7"-8" tablets on RAM's Tough-Wedge™ seat-gap base, which wedges into the gap between a vehicle seat and centre console with no drilling or gluing required and moves easily between vehicles. The spring-loaded X-Grip® cradle holds the tablet securely via a medium double socket arm.

FAQs
Is this a complete mount? Yes. The Tough-Wedge base, diamond ball base, medium arm and X-Grip cradle are all included — the only thing you add is the tablet.
Will the Tough-Wedge fit my vehicle? It wedges into the gap between the seat and the centre console and suits gaps from 9.5mm to 22mm. There's no drilling or adhesive, so it lifts out and moves to another vehicle in seconds.
Will my tablet fit with a case on? Measure the width of your tablet with the case, sleeve or skin fitted. The cradle opens from 63.5mm to 146.05mm wide and takes devices up to 22.2mm thick.
Is the tether included? Yes. We'd recommend fitting it for off-road, marine and any other high-vibration use — it's cheap insurance if the tablet is ever knocked loose.
What's the difference between this and RAP-B-407-UN8U? This version uses a powder-coated marine-grade aluminium arm and diamond base. RAP-B-407-UN8U is the composite equivalent — same cradle and same Tough-Wedge base.
