RAP-B-407-UN8U – RAM® X-Grip® 7-8" Tablet Mount with Tough-Wedge™ Base (Composite)
The RAP-B-407-UN8U mounts most 7"-8" tablets on RAM's Tough-Wedge™ seat-gap base, which wedges into the gap between a vehicle seat and centre console with no drilling or gluing required and moves easily between vehicles. The spring-loaded X-Grip® cradle holds the tablet securely via a composite double socket arm.

FAQs
Is this a complete mount? Yes. The Tough-Wedge base, diamond ball base, composite arm and X-Grip cradle are all included — the only thing you add is the tablet.
Will the Tough-Wedge fit my vehicle? It wedges into the gap between the seat and the centre console and suits gaps from 9.5mm to 22mm. There's no drilling or adhesive, so it lifts out and moves to another vehicle in seconds.
Will my tablet fit with a case on? Measure the width of your tablet with the case, sleeve or skin fitted. The cradle opens from 63.5mm to 146.05mm wide and takes devices up to 22.2mm thick.
Is the tether included? Yes. We'd recommend fitting it for off-road, marine and any other high-vibration use — it's cheap insurance if the tablet is ever knocked loose.
What's the difference between this and RAM-B-407-UN8BU? This version uses a composite arm and diamond base. RAM-B-407-UN8BU is the powder-coated marine-grade aluminium equivalent — same cradle and same Tough-Wedge base.
