RAM-B-407-C-UN8U – RAM® X-Grip® 7-8" Tablet Mount with Tough-Wedge™ Base (Long Arm)
The RAM-B-407-C-UN8U mounts most 7"-8" tablets on RAM's Tough-Wedge™ seat-gap base, which wedges into the gap between a vehicle seat and centre console with no drilling or gluing required and moves easily between vehicles. A long double socket arm gives extra reach, with the spring-loaded X-Grip® cradle holding the tablet securely.

FAQs
Is this a complete mount? Yes. The Tough-Wedge base, diamond ball base, long arm and X-Grip cradle are all included — the only thing you add is the tablet.
Will the Tough-Wedge fit my vehicle? It wedges into the gap between the seat and the centre console and suits gaps from 9.5mm to 22mm. There's no drilling or adhesive, so it lifts out and moves to another vehicle in seconds.
Will my tablet fit with a case on? Measure the width of your tablet with the case, sleeve or skin fitted. The cradle opens from 63.5mm to 146.05mm wide and takes devices up to 22.2mm thick.
Is the tether included? Yes. We'd recommend fitting it for off-road, marine and any other high-vibration use — it's cheap insurance if the tablet is ever knocked loose.
Do I need the long arm version? The 152mm long arm here brings the tablet further forward and higher than the medium-arm RAM-B-407-UN8BU. Choose it if the seat gap sits well back from where you want the screen, and the medium arm if you want the tablet tucked closer in.
