The RAP-B-365-224-C-UN8 mounts most 7"–8" tablets to a windscreen or smooth surface in a high-vibration environment. It pairs the spring-loaded RAM® X-Grip® cradle with a triple twist-lock suction base and a long double socket arm for maximum reach. The three-cup base is the answer for aircraft, tractors and other vehicles where a single or dual suction cup won't hold against the vibration.

FAQs

Is this a complete mount? Yes. The triple suction base, round base, long arm and X-Grip tablet cradle are all included; there's nothing else to buy to get your tablet onto the glass.

Why a triple suction base? Three cups hold where one or two would let go under sustained vibration, which makes this the go-to for aircraft, tractor and other high-vibration windscreens.

Will my tablet fit with a case on? Measure the width of your tablet with the case, sleeve or skin fitted. The cradle opens from 63.5mm to 146.05mm wide and takes devices up to 22.2mm thick.

Is the tether included? Yes. We'd recommend fitting it for aviation, agricultural and any other high-vibration use; it's cheap insurance if the tablet is ever knocked loose.

What surfaces will the cups stick to? Glass and other smooth, non-porous surfaces. Textured dashboards, matte plastic and any surface with a grain won't hold; clean both the cup and the surface before mounting.

Is the long arm the right choice? The 152mm arm gives extra reach for pushing a 7-8" tablet clear of instruments or controls. If you want the tablet held closer to the glass, a shorter-arm suction kit suits better.
