The RAM-B-166-UN7U pairs the RAM® X-Grip® universal phone cradle with a Twist-Lock™ suction cup base and a medium-length arm, for a strong hold on windscreens, dashboards, and other smooth, non-porous surfaces. It's built for daily in-vehicle use rather than the lighter-duty suction mounts sold elsewhere.

Is this a complete mount? Yes. The suction base, medium arm and X-Grip phone cradle are all included; there's nothing else to buy to get your phone onto the glass.
What surfaces will the cup stick to? Glass and other smooth, non-porous surfaces. Textured dashboards, matte plastic and any surface with a grain won't hold; clean both the cup and the surface before mounting. A RAM® adhesive disk gives the cup a smooth face to grip on an otherwise unsuitable surface.
Will my phone fit with a case on? Measure the width of your phone with the case fitted. The cradle opens from 47.6mm to 82.6mm wide and takes devices up to 22.2mm thick, which covers most phones in a standard case. Thick rugged cases and battery cases are the usual exception.
Is the tether included? Yes. We'd recommend fitting it for off-road, marine and any other high-vibration use; it's cheap insurance if the phone is ever knocked loose.
Is the medium arm the right choice? The 94mm arm suits most windscreen and side-window mounting. Short and long arm versions of this same kit are also available if you need the phone held tighter to the glass or pushed further out.
