Doubletake Base Extensions – Right-Hand and Left-Hand Threads
The DTM-EY covers both normal (right-hand) and reverse (left-hand) thread base extensions, so you can level your mirrors regardless of which side needs the reverse-thread adaptor.
Normal (Right-Hand) Thread
Aluminium extension with 10mm x 1.25 male and female threads
Works with the standard Ball Stud Base to offer clearance
Reverse (Left-Hand) Thread
Right-hand mirrors are reverse-thread on certain bikes, notably Yamaha, Beta, and some KTMs
Some models (WR250s) are factory-equipped with a reverse-thread adapter
Threads: 10mm x 1.25 female, 10mm x 1.25 RH male
If you need a reverse-thread adaptor on one side, you'll likely also want a right-hand thread extension on the other side to keep both mirrors level.
