RAP-B-224-1U RAM® Twist-Lock™ Suction Cup Base – Composite Diamond Base, B Size Ball

The RAP-B-224-1U pairs an 84mm (3.3") suction cup, locked with a flip switch, with a composite diamond ball base and B Size 1" rubber ball, the same diamond base used on our RAP-B-238U. It gives a strong temporary hold on glass and other smooth, non-porous surfaces, pair it with any B Size RAM® double socket arm and device holder to complete a mount.

Works With

This is a base only, it needs a RAM® double socket arm and a device holder to complete a mount. Suction cups work by creating a vacuum, so they need a genuinely smooth surface to grip. Anything textured lets air in and weakens the hold, windows and highly polished metal give the best result.

Care & Warranty

• Smooth, non-porous surfaces only; anything rough or textured lets air past the seal and the cup will not hold.
• Clean the surface thoroughly before you apply the cup.
• If the vehicle is left sitting in extreme heat or cold, release the cup and stow it rather than leaving it loaded.
• RAM® classes suction cups as a general wear item, so the cup is excluded from warranty cover. The base and ball hardware are covered as normal.

Prefer aluminium over composite? RAM-B-224-1U is the same suction cup with an aluminium diamond base instead. Need a lower profile? RAP-B-224-2U is a 2.75" low-profile version. A C Size 1.5" ball version, plus dual and triple suction cup bases, are also available.
