The RAM-B-189-PIV1-TAB8-ALA1-KRU is a complete RAM® mount for 10" tablets in a case, sized around the Apple iPad Pro 9.7. It pairs the spring-loaded RAM® Tab-Tite™ cradle with the RAM® dual articulating Twist-Lock™ suction base and a retention-knob arm, built to seal on curved surfaces and adjust with the tablet in place.

• Retention-knob arm: the double socket arm has an extension knob, so you can re-aim it with the tablet loaded and it will not over-loosen.

Works With

Sized around the iPad Pro 9.7 with a case and most 10" tablets in a case within the cradle dimensions below. The Tab-Tite™ cradle takes any tablet inside those ranges, so measure your device with its case fitted rather than going by model name. The pivot base suits curved or flat smooth, non-porous surfaces.

Care & Warranty

• Smooth, non-porous surfaces only; anything rough or textured lets air past the seal and the cups will not hold.
• Clean the surface thoroughly before you apply the cups.
• If the aircraft or vehicle is left sitting in extreme heat or cold, release the cups and stow the mount rather than leaving it loaded.
• RAM® classes suction cups as a general wear item, so the cups are excluded from warranty cover. The base, arm and cradle hardware are covered as normal.

FAQs

Why an articulating base? Each suction cup pivots on its own, so the base can sit flat against a curved windscreen where a rigid dual base could not seal.

What does the retention knob do? It lets you loosen and re-aim the arm with the tablet still mounted, and stops the knob backing all the way off.

Will my tablet fit? The Tab-Tite™ cradle takes any tablet inside the height, width and depth ranges above. Measure your device with its case on; that's a more reliable guide than the model name.

Are the suction cups covered by the warranty? No. RAM® treat suction cups as a general wear item, so they sit outside the lifetime warranty. The rest of the mount hardware is covered as normal.

When will my order ship? If this item shows as being in stock then it will usually ship from our Auckland warehouse in 1 business day. If it says to enquire then please get in touch as we may be able to get this back in for you.
