RAP-B-401U RAM® Tough-Claw™ Large Clamp Base with B Size (1") Ball

The RAP-B-401U is the large RAM® Tough-Claw™, a tool-free clamp base that grips round, square, and odd-shaped rails or bars from 25mm to 56mm (1" to 2.2") and finishes in a 1" B size rubber ball. It is the biggest jaw in the claw range, built for fat roll bars, boat rails, forklift cages, and other heavy tube the small and medium claws won't fit.

FAQs

What size rail does the large Tough-Claw fit?

Round or square rails and bars from 25mm to 56mm (1" to 2.2") outer diameter, plus flat edges up to 56mm (2.2"). For thinner bars, the medium (RAP-B-404U) or small (RAP-B-400U) claw will hold tighter.

What is the difference between the B and C ball versions?

Same clamp body, different ball. This B version finishes in a 1" ball for B size arms and cradles; the C version (RAP-401U) finishes in a 1.5" ball for C size components. Match the ball to the arm you already run.

Do I need tools to fit it?

No. Place the clamp over the bar and tighten the knob by hand. It comes off just as quickly when you need to move it.
