Works With
Most 305mm (12") tablets with or without sleeves, as well as some smaller tablets. Each cup articulates independently and can be repositioned to suit convex or concave surfaces, so the base follows curves a fixed twin-cup base cannot; on flat or gently curved glass the fixed version, the RAM-B-189-UN11U, does the same job for less.
The X-Grip® cradle expands and contracts for a fit on most 12" tablets. It features a composite spring-loaded cradle, expandable grip arms, and an additional bottom support keeper, with easy-access grip knobs on the back for quick release of the tablet. Care & Warranty
- Smooth, non-porous surfaces only — anything rough or textured lets air past the seal and the cups will not hold.
- Clean the surface thoroughly before you apply the cups.
- If the vehicle is left sitting in extreme heat or cold, release the cups and stow the mount rather than leaving it loaded.
- RAM® classes suction cups as a general wear item, so the cups are excluded from warranty cover. The base, arm and cradle hardware are covered as normal.

FAQs
How is this different from the standard dual suction version? Each suction cup articulates independently and can be repositioned to suit convex or concave surfaces, so the base follows a curve that a fixed twin-cup base cannot sit flat against. On flat or gently curved glass the fixed version, the RAM-B-189-UN11U, does the same job for less.
Will my tablet fit with a case on? Measure the width of your tablet with the case, sleeve or skin fitted. The cradle opens from 184.2mm to 222.3mm wide and takes devices up to 22.2mm thick.
Are the suction cups covered by the warranty? No. RAM® treat suction cups as a general wear item, so they sit outside the lifetime warranty. The rest of the mount hardware is covered as normal.
What surfaces will the cups stick to? Glass and other smooth, non-porous surfaces, flat or curved. Textured dashboards, matte plastic and anything with a grain won't hold. Clean both the cup face and the surface before mounting.
Is a 12" tablet too heavy for suction? The dual-cup base is specified to 907g in standard use, which covers most 12" tablets. In high-vibration use — off-road, marine, or a work vehicle on rough ground — a drilled or clamped base will always be more secure than any suction mount.
