NTT-BOS-01 Sena Nautitalk Bosun - Marine Mesh Intercom (Single)
The Sena Nautitalk Bosun is a waterproof, floating Mesh intercom headset built for life on deck. It sits over the ears on a low neckband so you can still wear a cap and sunnies, and it keeps helm, bow and nav station talking hands-free over Mesh Intercom 3.0 with no phone signal required. This is a single headset, for adding one more crew member to an existing Bosun group; for a complete setup see the Dual or Quad Pack below.
Key Features
- Mesh Intercom 3.0: up to 800 m on open water, Open Mesh with 6 channels and virtually unlimited participants, Group Mesh for private groups of up to 24
- IPX7 submersible and it floats: clip on the included marker buoy and a dropped headset bobs back up where you can see it
- UV stabilised housing: built to sit in the sun all season without going brittle
- 20-hour talk time: lithium polymer battery, 2.5 hour charge over the magnetic USB cable
- Advanced Noise Control: cuts wind and engine noise so you hear voices, not weather
- Low-profile fit: rounded arms hold it on the ears while leaving you aware of what is going on around you
- Bluetooth 5.2: pair a phone for calls and music, and manage settings and firmware through the Sena Marine app
- Race proven: official fleet headset of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race 2023-24, used from helm to bow and for rig checks in port
Which pack do I need?
Every crew member needs their own headset. A single Bosun on its own is not a two-way intercom. For two people start with the Bosun Dual Pack, for four the Bosun Quad Pack, and use this single to grow the group later.
Works With
Bosun talks to other Nautitalk headsets on the same Mesh channel. If your crew want something lighter that clips to a cap, look at the Nautitalk Crew. For a single-ear headset that keeps one ear open, the Nautitalk Easy; for noisy engine rooms the Nautitalk N2R adds Class 5 hearing protection.

FAQs
Do we need phone reception? No. Mesh runs headset to headset. Pair a phone over Bluetooth only if you want calls or music on top.
Can I hear what is going on around me? Yes. The Bosun sits on the ear rather than over it, so you still hear the water, the winch and whoever is shouting from the dock.
Not sure which intercom suits you? Read our intercom buying guide, which covers the Nautitalk and TALKIE ranges alongside the helmet units.
