NTT-N2R-01 Sena Nautitalk N2R - Marine Mesh Intercom with Hearing Protection (Single)
The Sena Nautitalk N2R is an over-ear Mesh intercom headset that doubles as Class 5 hearing protection. It is built for the loud end of boating: engine rooms, work boats, launches, jet boats and anything with a big outboard behind you. Crew talk hands-free over Mesh Intercom 3.0 while the earmuffs knock 33 dB off the racket, and internal microphones can feed ambient sound back in when you need to hear what is going on around you. Sold as a single headset.
Key Features
- Class 5 hearing protection: SLC80 33 dB under AS/NZS 1270, SNR 34 dB (EU), NRR 28 dB (US)
- Mesh Intercom 3.0: up to 1.1 km on open water, Open Mesh with 6 channels and virtually unlimited participants, Group Mesh for private groups of up to 24
- Two-way radio ready: connects to a handheld VHF or UHF radio by cable (sold separately) with a built-in PTT connector, so one headset does radio and intercom
- Ambient mode: internal microphones pass surrounding sound through at a safe level when the intercom is not in use
- Swappable battery: removable rechargeable battery and a dual battery charger in the box, so a spare is always on charge
- Advanced Noise Control: keeps your voice clear over engine and wind noise
- Bluetooth and Sena Marine app: phone pairing for calls and music, plus settings and firmware from your phone
Works With
N2R talks to other Nautitalk headsets on the same Mesh channel, so a skipper on a Bosun can talk straight to an engineer on an N2R. Accessories include a hygiene kit, replacement microphone, wired PTT and radio cables for Icom, Kenwood, Motorola, Midland and Yaesu; get in touch and we can get them in. For a lighter open-water headset without hearing protection, see the Bosun.

FAQs
Is it waterproof? It is a marine headset built for spray and weather, but it is not a submersible and it does not float. If the headset is likely to go swimming, the Bosun is the better fit.
Can I use it with my VHF? Yes, with the matching radio cable for your handheld. Tell us the make and model and we will sort the right one.
