What is a swing arm? Swing arms are designed to allow the device to swing / move / pivot into position. They are often used in marine or industrial settings where the device is moved frequently between positions. Swing / fold it away when not in use.
The entire swing arm system will include a base (designed for horizontal or vertical mounting), one or two swing arms, an adaptor to connect to the mounting plate (this may or may not be incorporated in the swing arm), and a mounting plate (onto which the electronic device attaches).
