RAM-247U Universal Square Post Clamp Base (44.4mm–101.6mm, C Size Ball)

The RAM-247U is a RAM Mounts square post clamp base with slotted mounting holes, fitting posts from 44.4mm to 101.6mm (1.75"–4") wide. Fitted with a C size 1.5" rubber ball, it's the most universal clamp base in the range and the one to choose when you don't know the exact post width, or need to move it between machines.

Works With

Any C size (1.5" ball) RAM component: connect a C size double socket arm, then add a C size ball adapter or device holder to suit your gear. Suits medium to large tablets and other heavier devices. For phones and handheld PCs, the B size RAM-B-247U uses the same slotted clamp.

How is this different from the RAM-247U-4? The RAM-247U-4 has fixed holes for posts up to 102mm. The RAM-247U's slotted holes let one base fit a wide range of post sizes, which is handy across a mixed fleet.

What does it connect to? Any C size RAM arm and holder via the included 1.5" ball.
