RAM-GDS-CHARGE-V22CU is a GDS® hardwire charger with a bare wire 30-60V DC input and a Male USB Type-C output delivering a fixed 12V DC at up to 2.5A, with Power Delivery support. The high input range makes it the right choice for electric forklifts and material handling equipment running 36V or 48V battery packs.

FAQs

What makes this different from the other Power Delivery chargers? The V21CU and V22CU are the only USB Type-C chargers in the GDS range with a fixed 12V output. The other Power Delivery options supply a variable 5-15V.

Will it work in a car or truck? No. The input range starts at 30V DC, so it is not suitable for a 12V or 24V vehicle. Use the V21CU instead.

Will it suit a 48V forklift? Yes. A 48V pack sitting above 58V while charging stays inside the 30-60V input range. Check your pack's actual charging voltage if you are close to the limit.
