The RAM-GDS-SKIN-AP32-NG-LED is the IntelliSkin® Next Gen protective sleeve for Apple's 11" iPads with a built-in LED work light on the back and an on/off button on the front. It fits the iPad Pro 11 (1st to 4th Gen), iPad Air 4 and 5, and iPad Air 11 (M2, M3 and M4), and drops into the same AP32 GDS® Tough-Dock™ as the standard RAM-GDS-SKIN-AP32-NG. The dock charges through the ruggedised pogo pads moulded into the bottom of the skin, so the iPad's own USB-C port stays out of the daily plug-and-unplug cycle. The LED is for the jobs where the iPad is out of the dock and the light is not: picking in a dark racking aisle, checking a load bay at night, reading a plate under a truck.

Works With

Apple iPad Pro 11 (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Gen), iPad Air 4 and 5, and iPad Air 11 (M2, M3, M4). Pair it with the RAM-GDS-DOCK-AP32CPU GDS® Tough-Dock™, and add the RAM-GDS-HS1U Hand-Stand™ for handheld use. To use it in a GDS® Uni-Conn™ dock you also need the RAM-GDS-U1AU adjustable adapter. If you don't need the light, the RAM-GDS-SKIN-AP32-NG is the same sleeve without it. For the 12.9" and 13" iPads use the RAM-GDS-SKIN-AP47-NG.

FAQs

Does it fit the same dock as the standard AP32-NG sleeve?

Yes. Both drop into the AP32 Tough-Dock and the IntelliSkin® Next Gen desktop docks, so a fleet can mix LED and non-LED sleeves on the same docks.

Will it fit the iPad Pro 11 with M4 or M5 chip?

No. RAM's compatibility list for this sleeve stops at the 4th Gen iPad Pro 11; the thinner M4 and M5 Pro models are not listed.

Can I charge the iPad away from the vehicle?

Yes. Pop the cap off the USB-C port on the bottom of the sleeve and plug in as normal.
