The RAM-B-182U is a complete motorcycle mounting kit that fits over your existing brake or clutch reservoir cover, giving you a centered 1" B Size ball, a medium double socket arm and a diamond base adapter with the industry-standard 2-hole AMPS pattern. It is the tidy way to add a phone, GPS or action camera holder without giving up handlebar space.

Works With

Suits many road bikes from BMW, Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Buell. The reservoir cap needs to be flat for a secure fit; some models with a rounded cap will not seat correctly, and this kit is not compatible with the 2016 BMW R1200RT. The diamond base accepts any 2-hole AMPS device holder. If you would rather buy the parts separately, see the RAM-B-345U centered base, RAM-B-201U medium arm and RAM-B-238U diamond base. If your reservoir sits tight against the bars or you need the device shifted to one side, the RAM-B-183U offset version of this kit does the same job with the ball set off to the side. For more or less reach you can swap the arm for the short or long B Series arm.

FAQs

Does this replace my reservoir cover? No. The plate sits above your existing cover and reuses the cover's own screw holes with the longer screws supplied, so the original cover stays where it is.

Centered or offset; which one do I want? Centered puts the ball directly over the reservoir, which looks tidiest and suits most bikes. Choose the offset RAM-B-183U instead if the reservoir sits close to the bars, the screen or a mirror stem, or if you simply want the device sitting further inboard.

Will it fit my bike? The plate has six slotted holes, so there is a reasonable range of adjustment; check yours against the dimensions diagram. The cap also needs to be flat rather than rounded. Not compatible with the 2016 BMW R1200RT.

What can I mount on it? Anything with the 2-hole AMPS pattern bolts straight to the diamond base, which covers most RAM® phone, GPS and action camera holders. Keep the total load under 907g (2 lbs).
