Sena no longer produces the first-generation Tufftalk Lite and we cannot source any further stock. The Lite2 is the direct replacement and is functionally the same headset: 21dB Noise Reduction Rating, Bluetooth 4.1 four-way intercom out to 800m, 13 hours of talk time, 32mm HD speakers and built-in FM radio. If your crew wears hard hats, the Tufftalk Lite2 hard hat mount version (TUFFTALK-LITE2-02) replaces the old TUFFTALK-LITE-02 and does gain hearing protection, moving from 20dB to 22dB.

FAQs

Can I still get one? No. This model is out of production and we cannot source further stock. The Tufftalk Lite2 is the direct replacement and is in the same price bracket.

Is the Lite2 actually an upgrade? On the over-the-head model, not in terms of hearing protection; both are rated at 21dB and the electronics are the same. The Lite2 is simply the version Sena still builds and supports. The hard hat mount variant is the one that improves, from 20dB to 22dB.

Will the Lite2 talk to my existing Tufftalk Lite headsets? Both use Sena Bluetooth intercom, so they should pair as part of the same group. If you are mixing generations across a crew, get in touch first and we will confirm the setup for your units before you order.
