RAM-103-D-238U RAM® Double Socket Arm with Diamond Base – C Size Long

The RAM-103-D-238U pairs a diamond base plate with the longest C Series double socket arm, leaving one 1.5" socket open to take any RAM® C Size ball base or device cradle. At 232mm end to end it reaches across a dash, a console or a boat gunwale to put the device where the operator actually wants it.

Works With

The open socket accepts any RAM® component with a 1.5" C Size ball. On the plate side, the 2-hole AMPS pattern connects to a wide range of RAM® and third-party holders, including the RAM-HOL-ZE30U printer holder for the Zebra ZQ521. If this is more reach than you need, the same kit comes as a medium arm (RAM-103-238U) or a short arm (RAM-103-B-238U).

FAQs

Does it include screws to bolt the plate down?
No. These mount to too many different surfaces for us to guess the right fixings. The two AMPS holes usually take #8, #10, M4 or M5 screws. If you're bolting it to a RAM® holder, the holder comes with its own hardware.

What goes in the open socket?
Any RAM® C Size component with a 1.5" ball: a drill-down base, a suction cup base, a rail clamp or a device cradle.

Is a long arm less stable?
Any longer arm gives up some rigidity, so it pays to use the shortest length that reaches. On a rough ride or with a heavier device, the short or medium version will hold steadier.
