RAM's clever range of universal X-grip device holders provides a mounting solution for thin devices from smart phones to 12" class tablets such as the Microsoft Surface and Apple iPad Pro.

The hugely popular X-Grip comes in various sizes and they will hold your device with case – unlike a RAM form-fitting cradle. RAM produce the gold standard for mounting smart phones in cars and an X-grip will grow and adapt as you do.

The X-Grip is a heavy duty, spring loaded holder with expandable grip arms and in larger applications adjustable support arms. The -UN7, -UN8 and -UN versions also come with a tether which is recommended for all outside and off road applications.

Because a new phone or device comes out every five minutes RAM (and we) cannot always keep up with every model change. We show the list of compatible phones, as produced by RAM, in the cradle listing. The list is not exhaustive and may be a little out of date – the sizes below are always the ultimate guide.

Check the dimensions of your phone, phablet or tablet and compare them with the following specs.

Because of the X-Grip design if the device is narrow (for the particular X-Grip cradle) then it needs to be over a certain length to be secure. Therefore, a minimum height is prescribed for both the minimum and maximum widths for the UN7, UN8 and UN10 cradles.
