RAM parts are like LEGO for grown-ups and their devices - all the parts are mix and match and the number of combinations are endless, limited only by the user's imagination. That said, sometimes it is just easier to just grab a pre-made solution. In this section we showcase common complete solutions for Tablets, Phones, Screens, GPS’s, Laptops, Marine Electronics and cameras grouped by the cradle type.
The list is by no means exhaustive and some mounts have been left without a cradle and for those we've left it up to you to pop over to the Device Cradles and Adaptors section to complete your mount.
How it works:
The RAM system is modular, and the only limit is your imagination. You typically need a base, an arm, adaptor and a cradle for your device though RAM does have a few low-profile mounts that don’t include an arm.
The size of the ball and socket system varies according to load capacity. 1"/B-size ball for up to 0.91kg load, 1.5"/C-size ball for 1.81kg load, 2.25” D size will handle 2.72kg and if you’re really going tough the 3.38” E Series will take a massive 6.8kg load. Arms generally come in three lengths regardless of the ball size. Simple – short, medium and long. If you find the perfect complete mount but the arm size is too long, or too short just contact us as swapping to a different length arm is usually easily done (note: there may be a cost as longer arms cost more!).
Cradles are Device Specific or Universal. Form-Fit cradles are designed for a particular model of phone / tablet / GPS without a case. If your device has a case, of there is no RAM Form-Fitting cradle then there will be a universal cradle to suit. Universal cradles include the X-Grip series, Tab-Tite, Finger-Grip, Quick-Grip, Power Plate, Marine Electronic Bases and Camera Mounts.
It’s important that you check the dimensions of your device when you are considering Universal cradles. The list of “Compatible Devices” that we have on many product pages is being constantly updated but it is not exhaustive.

That would mean we have the parts to make the complete kit - same parts, same pricing as the complete kit.
All mounting parts carry a lifetime guarantee against breakage with direct factory warranty support. Electronic parts such as the GDS range of skins carry a 2-year warranty.
